“TOGETHER APART: How
technology gets into our lives”
Media convergence has transformed established procedures and
news outlets, services, and work practices and enabled entirely new forms of
content to emerge. That is not all, it has changed the way people interact with
each other and billions of people are now able to access media content that was
once tied to specific communications channel. It has taken the major part of
human lives that even when people are together, technology channels through
social media tend to put people apart.
This project aims to delve into how technology has shaped
lives and yet put lives apart.

ReplyDeleteI think technology aims to be positive, yet is us humans who have misused it. There are so many ways in which you can explore this project. It can be a broad topic, but there's is a lot to talk about. How does it affect communication? does it affect the way we speak,and write? How the internet has increase bullying, do video games and cellphones are part of the problem? how and why? Have you thought on how you are going to present your project? a video, photographs or an essay?

ReplyDeleteIt's true that technology has both brought us together and has pushed us apart but I think it's important to choose a medium that you want to focus on. Technology is such a broad subject and I think narrowing in on a certain aspect of technology would make your project great!
