My name is Victoria Silverio and I’m a senior student
majoring in Journalism and Spanish. I was born and raised in the Dominican
Republic and moved to the united states when I was eleven years old. Last year,
I worked with The Newest American Project as the video editor for the cultural
dance group Brick City Bhangra. My interests are in multimedia journalism. Media
is such an important part of my life, from how I pay the parking meter at
school to the creation of short documentary pieces. As for my academic goals, I
hope to create more interesting media.
